There is something to be said about someone who has a vanity license plate. Do they have extra money to throw away or are they trying to make a statement?
Nevada is one of the highest states with vanity plates. Yesterday, I saw one that said "MRSHMLO"...I'm thinking they meant "marshmallow", but I'm not too sure. On my way back to Henderson a couple of weeks ago, I saw one on a big van that said "OBWISE"...I'm thinking a Mormon. Then there's "COUGFAN" (my roommate's parents' car), "LEGAL2K", "UMPHA 1" or HASHU 9" (whatever that one means).
I have always found vanity plates kind of entertaining, mostly, because I like to figure out what they are saying. It's kind of a game. However, that was in UT, but here in Vegas it's starting to get a bit annoying.
